Like every other aspiring, fresh graduate from Delhi University, I started this business in 1989, taking over the reins from my father. Initially, our business was focusing primarily on Room Air-conditioning, catering to door to door customers as well as Government organizations. This was an era when the automotive setup in India was picking up the pace with lot European and Asian giants setting up their shops here. While buying these new age vehicles was itself a big blow to the pocket of the middle-class families, their cost of maintenance was high too. This is where I decided to step into the automotive sector, initially just into the air-conditioning vertical owing to our expertise and the knowledge that my father imparted on to me. Our main agenda behind this was to provide the common man with relatively cheaper option for their car maintenance but keeping the highest standards of quality that car manufacturer would provide.
I would travel a radius of 25km every day on a bicycle, going door to door to expand the business. I would personally get my hands dirty under the car, trying to learn every technical aspect of the vehicle. Over the years, we’ve partnered with the best-in-class companies like Bosch, Denso and Subros, to name a few, as our main suppliers of automotive parts, without compromising on the quality that we deliver to our clients. This earned us a reputation in the market because of which we are proud to be associated with corporates such as the Avis Group, Travel House and numerous 5-star hotels across Delhi-NCR. My biggest achievement in this journey is the fact that I could impact the lives and families of around 60 people who work under one roof to deliver the best to our customers.
With what started as just a car air-conditioning setup, handled by a couple of young folks, we’ve come a long way in the past 2 and half decades to a multi-brand, state of the art, one stop shop for all that your car needs, at affordable prices.
