FMCG, Healthcare, Real Estate and Social Development Sector – the four most competitive sectors is where Krishnan, an alumnus of IIM, Ahmedabad, has a rich 30+ years of pan-India experience. From launching L’oreal products in South India way back in 1991 to launching a new brand of Pan Masala in an already saturated North India market – he has done it all. Krishnan’s core competence has been taking on so-called “dead markets” and socalled “difficult new products” and making them successful. As senior technical director of Futures Group International, he led two programs – WHO-ORS & DPCP (Dual Purpose Condom Protection) that were funded by USAID as part of PACTCRH program in India. Both programs won several awards, national and international. Subsequently as a consultant in many new ventures, startups, across different sectors, Krishnan’s ability to draw up strategies to effectively penetrate new markets, set up an organization from scratch and help them grow
exponentially has been honed further. Krishnan did a three-year stint as an entrepreneur early in his life, where he and
his wife encountered severe losses. They struggled for many years as they repaid their dues. The event was a huge learning experience and made them realize the value of giving back and contributing to the community than just focusing on earning.
As co-founder of ShikshaDaan Foundation along with his wife, he is currently on a multi year road trip titled “ShikshaDaan Yatra” to every district of India. This Yatra has been undertaken to advocate giving for education and identifying partners for ShikshaDaan. As a Leadership coach, Krishnan is coaching several senior and C-suite executives, helping as a catalyst in their personal and professional growth.
