Soumya Dhani is a survivor of many destructive life events. Despite having suffered through relentless physical violence, sexual abuse, emotional abuse and psychological abuse all her life, she has fought hard to keep her spirit alive and blazing. She works with children, parents and teachers to shift their mindsets for self-evolution, using Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and various other therapeutic approaches.
She worked as the All India Representative for University of Loughborough, Leicester, UK, counseling and helping many students shape their careers abroad. She has transformed many children and families struggling with ongoing issues through her empathetic and keen understanding of Child Psychology and Family Dynamics. She has served as a school counselor, educator as well as an academic counselor with trails of gratitude, affection and love showered by her students and their parents.
She was Editor, Psychology Department, University of Delhi and launched its first Psychology magazine ever across all North Campus, University of Delhi. She was the delegate for Phillipines in her Mock United Natons. She served in the Common Wealth Games as a volunteer. She also holds a Diploma in French language from the French Embassy, Alliance de Francais, New Delhi.
Soumya dived into the world of E-Commerce 2 years ago and learnt financial options available to common man to actually make a life worth living, beyond the regular 9-5 for 40 years of our lives. With the creation of SuperHumans Academy, she aims to create psychological awareness in the society for children and adults alike, as well as share basic financial awareness which is not taught in schools or colleges around the world.
