Sonya Fatah

Sonya Fatah is a writer, instructor and documentary filmmaker. She has covered South Asia and North America for numerous publications across North America (Globe and Mail; Toronto Star; Global Post), and also wrote a column for the Times of India during her eight-year stint in New Delhi. She is the recipient of several grants for non-fiction writing. She currently works as a freelance journalist while also teaching Feature Writing, Social Issues in Journalism and Media Law and Ethics to university students in Toronto.
