Sonia Golani

Sonia Golani is a non-fiction author residing in Mumbai. Her first book Corporate Divas: Stories of 18 Indian women business leaders was published to much acclaim by Penguin in the year 2011. Ever since, Sonia has written two more books and her fourth book titled ‘What After Money And Fame’ will be published in the latter half of 2016, once again by Penguin Random House. Sonia’s second book, My Life, My Rules: Stories of 18 Unconventional Careers published by Westland is a much appreciated bestseller. Her third book Decoding Bollywood: Stories of 15 Film Directors, also published by Westland is a tribute to her city of Mumbai, the film capital of the country and to the hundred years of Indian cinema.

Sonia graduated with an Hons. degree from Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi and then acquired a Masters from the Delhi University. Before taking to writing she was a successful entrepreneur and managed her search firm, Management Consultants group for more than a decade and a half. When not reading or writing, she loves the outdoors, music and golf. Sonia is passionate about women empowerment and totally believes in the power of positivity, continuous learning and enhancement of skills.
