I have completed my graduation in Business Management (Marketing) from Christ University Bangalore and Post-Graduation in Business Management (Marketing and Finance) from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. I have been an ex-Investment Banker with SBI Capital Markets Limited in the Corporate Office, Mumbai for a period of more than 3 years, looking after Private Equity and M&A Deal making there, being a part of the Origination Team of the Equity Capital Markets Department. During my tenure with SBICAP, I worked on a range of Sector-Agnostic Equity-based transactions – both Public and Private and I also closed a cross-border Strategic Acquisition Transaction (involving Acquisition and Primary Investment by Foreign Investor along with Secondary stake sale of Existing Shareholders) of an RBI-Regulated Credit Bureau in India. Thereafter, I worked as an Entrepreneur for a period of 1.5 years and look after overall Corporate Group Finance, Real Estate Business an Agriculture business in North-Eastern India.
I now run an Investment Bank out of Bangalore – Prag Innovations Pvt. Ltd. through which I am engaged with the various transactions including PE/VC Funding, Mergers and Acquisitions, Debt Syndication, Strategic and Business Development Advisory across sectors like Credit Bureau, Credit Rating Agencies, Cosmetics, Sports Apparel, Venture Fund, Wireless Technology, Dental HMO and Insurance, Treasury Solutions, Dental Equipment, Facilities Management, Defense and Aerospace, etc. I am also empaneled with boutique Investment Research and Wealth Management companies in Bangalore and New Delhi as a Consulting Partner for their Investment Banking Advisories to create collaborative workspaces.
