Vicki Shernjeet Gill is currently the CEO of South of Fraser Consulting, her own company designed for Project Management and Film Production Consulting. She is an accomplished, entrepreneurial Project Manager/Controller with 20 plus years of experience and a proven track record in providing strategic guidance to both non-profit and profit organizations.
She is an innovative, results-driven leader with the ability to train, supervise and motivate teams to their peak potential. As the Director of Financial Operations for the largest equipment rental company for the movie industry in BC, Vicki is analytical, organized, detail – oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Recognized for outstanding discipline, leadership and “going the extra mile” to meet departmental and company goals, Vicki is described as reliable, dedicated, loyal, outgoing, high integrity with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Along with her professional career, Vicki is dedicated to volunteerism and has been involved for 20 plus years with civic, provincial, and Federal politics. Supporting non-profits is her passion include working with seniors, children, women, and multicultural associations.
In particular, she served in supportive roles for Former Mayor Diane Watts’, Current Mayor Linda Heppner’s several MP’s and MLAs’ campaigns. She chaired the fundraising committee for the Progressive Intercultural Community Services and was involved in the Second Stage Housing program for battered women. Vicki has the unique ability to bring people together to find solutions to problems.
With a diverse career as a Construction Project Manager, Commercial Banker, Canadian Boarder Services Agency and a Director for the Largest Movie Equipment Supplier Harold’s Custom Equipment Rental, Vicki has the ability to build inclusive relationships with people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds.
Near and dear to Vicki’s heart is desire to support seniors and youth. She feels that seniors give much of their time, knowledge, experience and they should be honoured and respected. Vicki would tap into senior resources to help make the community of Surrey better for the next generation.
She is excited to work with the youth who can bring their ideas, enthusiasm together to achieve great success.
