Studied at NIFT Delhi, Graduated in Design stream. Worked in fashion and retail for 15 years. Took a break of 5 years in between to get married and have a family. worked with brands like Weekender, Jockey, Arvind retail in Bangalore. Have tried my hands in running my own business exporting home furnishings and decorative items for 2 years in between. At present am settled in Kolkata and in the process of setting up a pre-primary Montessori based school in New Town, Kolkata. I have 2 teenaged children. My spouse is a serving Airforce pilot
