CEO/Founder & Editor-in-Chief, YMag
Shar Moore, International Award Winning Mentor, Author, International Keynote Speaker and Founder of YMag®.
There is something powerful about Shar Moore, known as the YWoman.
Her ability to help women move from a place of purposelessness, to honing in on their Y, helping them step into their spotlight and true genius. An accomplished businesswoman, with an extensive background in executive positions in the Far & Middle East, an entrepreneur for more than 12 years, Shar has been the creative force behind a number of successful ventures. One of those being, a high-end day spa in the desert sands of the Middle East.
But it was not until she lost if all, that she found her Y. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Shar took all the lessons from the adversities she faced and created a business network group, a powerful, dynamic and inspirational community of people destined for greatness, as they tap into their Y on the East Coast of Australia.
Her book Broke to BMW in 18 Months, chronicles her recovery from business disaster to networking and masterminding dynamo. The birth of this business in 2011, evolved to 10 chapters down Australia’s east coast, into YMag, a news stand magazine that showcases incredible Y stories, the YWeekend workshop, where people can find their purpose in life, the Purpose Finder online program and Your Life, Your Purpose book.
Shar also runs invitation only mentoring programs, for women committed to finding and living their Y and supporting others to do the same through a global membership community.
All of this is underpinned by her Y, raising funds for an orphanage in Thailand (her country of birth) to positively impact the world she lives in and leave a lasting legacy, her footprint.
Empowering women globally is Shar’s daily motivation and she will stop at nothing until she affects lasting changes in the lives of those she meets.
Shar is of indian decent and resides on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia and is the mother to 3 children, wife of 25 years and has 2 grand children.
