Sara Money is the developer and director of the Money & ME Program which is a financial literacy program strategically written for low-income people. She began the development of the curriculum in 2011 and it has now become a business which has grown to five states! She was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1992, she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology and Communications from the University of New Mexico (UNM). In 1998, she graduated with a Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling from Webster University in Albuquerque, NM. She has worked and volunteered in many places, including Albuquerque Job Corps, NM Human Services Department (Income Support Division), Albuquerque Public Schools (Substance Abuse Prevention Program), UNM Agora Crisis Center, Albuquerque Shelter for Domestic Violence, and Albuquerque Rape Crisis Center. Sara worked as the Executive Director for a non-profit – Love INC (In the Name of Christ) of Albuquerque a from 2011-2016. She was also the Albuquerque City Coordinator for the DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative (DVULI) located in Grand Rapids, Michigan from 2015-2016. She now does Money & ME full time.
