Sanjiv Sarin

Mr. Sarin is the Managing Director and CEO of TATA Coffee Ltd.. Prior to this he was the Regional President – South Asia of Tata Global Beverages. He has 40 years experience with leading multinational organizations and has spent significant time in Global markets of Egypt, EMEA, Philippines at senior positions. He has been a member of the National Tea Board and member of the Executive Committee of the United Planters’ Association. He has also been a member of the CII FMCG Committee. Mr. Sarin holds a management degree from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines, graduating with Distinction and a Master’s Degree in Economics from Bombay University, where he graduated at the top of the class and received the University Gold Medal. Mr. Sarin was awarded the ‘CEO of the Year (F&B sector)’ award by World Quality Congress in 2017. He was also recognised with the ‘Exceptional Leaders of Excellence’ award by the Women’s Economic Forum in the same year. In 2018 Mr Sarin was recognised with the ‘Udyog Rattan Award’ by the Institute of Economic Studies. He was awarded the prestigious ‘Triple A’ award (Alumni Achievement Award) by his alma mater, the Asian Institute of Management, Manila Giving back to the community is intrinsic to him. He is the Managing Trustee of The Coorg Foundation, a public charitable trust established by TATA Coffee Ltd, and Managing Trustee of the Rural India Health Project. He was recognised with the ‘Global Community Service’ award given by the Chairman Cadbury Schweppes. He is deeply committed to the Art of Living Foundation. He was a Trustee of Art Of Living Foundation, Philippines, Jt Chairperson of the Apex Corporate program and is a Corporate Apex program Teacher.
