Ms Sabitha Natraj, General Manager, Indian Oil Corporation Limited heads the Marketing Division of Corporate Communications vertical for South Zone. In charge of communications, media and stakeholder engagement for the five southern states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu, Ms Sabitha Natraj brings with her more than two decades of rich experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
A Gold Medallist in Executive MBA, Marketing, from the prestigious MDI (Management Development Institute), Gurgaon, under the National Capital Region, Ms Sabitha Natraj, holds a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communications and is an English Literature graduate.
Having joined IndianOil in 1993, at New Delhi, she has held various positions in IndianOil in Retail Sales and Corporate Communications Department. An Experienced Communications and Loyalty Program Professional, she believes in ‘Giving your 100% always, doing your best and spreading sunshine’ whether in her personal and professional live.
Ms Sabitha Natraj has won several awards in her field, the most prestigious being ‘The Woman Executive Of the Year’ Award for the Oil and Gas Industry for her professionalism, dedication and determination in overcoming personal and professional challenges during her career and for adding exceptional value to the company during the Chennai floods crises. She has won The HALL Of Fame Award by Public Relations Council of India and her name is included in the distinguished list of Outstanding Achievers in the field of Marketing Communications. She received a special citation and a special jury award for the excellent work rendered during Chennai Floods from Association of Business Communicators of India. The outstanding work rendered by her have found nominations in the World Communication Forum, Geneva 2017. She was a panel speaker at the World Communications Forum held at Davos, Switzerland in 2016.
A mother of a 23 year old son and an 18 year old daughter, she ascribes her success to the unstinted support, respect and encouragement from her husband and family.
