Robert Luiten

In 1980 Robert Luiten was started his career as a remedial teacher at several primary schools in The Hague. Children (directly from abroad) giving Dutch lessons was my first task. After that he became a teacher with the very little ones, 4, 5 and 6 years old. For 10 years he loved his job. Giving the children a safe place during their school time was his biggest challenge. In 1996 he decided that his time was come to change job.
Robert Luiten strongly believe that working is oke, but when you are able to work with a lot of joy, its even better, you get energy from your work and it is not a energy leak. The computer did his big entrée in education land, the principal of his school askes me to organize the computers at our school. Computer was my hobby and he decided to give it a try! Lol. In a very short time he know everything about computers, website but most of all, how do you organize your lessons with a computer.
Several years he was member of the Dutch national ICT coordinator platform, the innovative teachers network, and a lot more. Soon he was discovered by a ICT education hardware supplier, they know everything about computers and nothing about education. So he was detached to that company and he gave courses in all the country, how to use your computer in the classroom, what do you do with your electronic schoolboard etc.
When at his school the management team was reorganized and they want me back in the classroom, he decided that it was my time to go. And quit my job for half. But what is next?? Quitting your job is easy but how do you get money to live???
Several years he give friends and relatives a massage, not for the money but only because I like it so much, it was a obvious choice to try to find a job in the massage world. He started his own massage company and was hired by a FloatCenter as a massage specialist.
After tree years he quit his job completely and arranged that his school hired him for one day a week for ICT solutions.
Now again 3 years later he is the proud owner of FloatCenter Babylon, a beauty and health center for everyone. Floating is drifting in salted water, completely isolated by influences from outside.
