Are you a Relational leader? Women, difference and the power of conscious relationship building


Not all experiences are created equally in our workplaces. This is what the research shows. Our workplaces are still designed in reference to those who identities and experiences are considered to be the norm. A norm defined by ones gender, race, class, ability, sexuality and religion. When we consider the ways our multiple identities and backgrounds play into our success, opportunities and wellbeing at work, it is critical that women leaders understand the necessity of dismantling systemic barriers, and creating networks of workplace transformation particularly with social minority women. Through this interactive, self-reflexive and engaging talk, we will develop skills of being relational and embodied leaders who collaboratively design equitable, inclusive and diverse working eco-systems.
