Rachelle Rutherford – United States Of America (USA)

Rachelle Rutherford is a strategic thinker, innovator, and holds an impressive record of successfully leading major initiatives. Rutherford currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at The American Campus (TAC) located in Mauritius, Africa a new university designed to offer a high quality, low cost education to students across Africa and Asia. The primary goal of the university is to prepare students for immediate entry into the workplace. Rutherford also serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Kids on the Move (KOTM), a non-profit organization serving children with special needs throughout the State of Utah. As COO, Rutherford oversees all aspects of the business, including executive leadership over the company’s seven directors and 180 employees. Prior to joining KOTM and TAC, she spent eighteen years in executive leadership roles within the telecommunications and information technology industries, working with corporations, vendors, consultants, and professional groups, assisting them to capitalize on the value of strategic alternatives. She has a life-long love for education and is fiercely committed to service and community development, including her present role as a member of the Board of Directors for Prevent Child Abuse Utah. She earned dual undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Finance and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. She and her husband Scott live in Utah with their six wonderful children.
