Working in the field of Agriculture Science for more than Two decades, my professional focus has been in the area of Pomology, floriculture, Green house management, landscape designing, post harvest technology and Agro-forestry and Agri business management. I have received my bachelor of Honours in agriculture and Master of Science in Horticulture from Haryana Agriculture University, M.Phil in Horticulture and Phd in Horticulture Institute of Advance Studies, MEERUT UNIVERSITY in 1992. In 1993, I did serve as Associate Professor of Horticulture at Shahid Chamran Agriculture University in Iran. In 1997, I hold the post of Head of Department of Horticulture with Prasrampuria Internationals at Indore, India. I have been active in the field of landscape designing, serving as consultant landscape designer with army institutes at MEERUT (U.P), KASHIPUR (UTTRAKHAND) AND JAIPUR (RAJASTHAN) from 2000-2010, and working as landscape designer with resorts such as SWAPANLOK Resorts (Jaipur). I served as the Head of Horticulture Research, Development & implementation at a Multinational Company, METROVALLEY BUILDERS at GURGAON (HARAYNA) in 2009-2010. I have been actively participating in the following projects and programs. Rural Development Programs; Women Empowerment in Participatory Agriculture Projects, Rural Youth Up-liftman Program, Girl Child Education Project, and working in conjunction with various Non Government Organization’s (NGO’S) namely; Samaj Praygati Sahiyog (MP), Women Power Connect (NEW DELHI), Sewa Welfare Society (UP), Asha PLUS (JAIPUR), Student Relief Society (Jaipur), Marudra Academy ,Jaipur from 2000-2010. I have served as Professor and Coordinator/head of Agribusiness Management school with Amity Business School, AMITY UNIVERSITY JAIPUR(Raj) in 2010-2013. In addition, I have conducted various training programs for the rural women at Jaipur and rural areas around Jaipur on the post harvest technology of fruits/vegetables as a source of income/ employment and Entrepreneurship program organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of Rajasthan in 2009-2010. My other responsibilities includes the resource person for giving lecture/ trainings in various aspects of landscape designing (indoor & outdoor), gardening, floriculture, flower arrangements for interiors, Agro- forestry, Conservation of natural resources (water, soil, trees), pasture renewal, environmental conservation, Organic farming to name a few across India. My research interests include; Post harvest management technology, Green concept &landscaping for future buildings with implementation of horticulture for indoor and outdoor designing ,improving health for future generation, Floriculture promotion for income generation, and Organic farming, use of native plants for biodiesel, generating employment for youth through native and natural resources at rural level, Capacity building and Skill development for unemployed youth and women. Helping students of Phd as outside guide from different institutes. Have been involved as resource person for trainings of post harvest technology with NIFTEM(National institute of food technology and engginering management ), Kundli, Haryana 2015-2017 . Have a large number of publications on agriculture/Horticulture in international and national Journals /Magazines .
Designed and implemented the landscape gardens of NABARD Colony in Jaipur.Have received an award for my Outstanding Achievement in horticulture in 2015,for contribution and recognition in the field of horticulture, the International conference on GLOBAL WARMING AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION ICGB 2015, Held AT Deira, Dubai(UAE),9-11 Feb 2016.I was Presented Trophy for the best judge of show at ANNUAL GARDEN SHOW Delhi Tourisum, New Delhi, 19-21 Feb 2016. I received a Distinguish Scientist Award for achievements in Horticulture Field presented by HI-TECH Horticulture Society,SVBPUA&T,Meerut(Up) OCT 2012.
