Oyeboade Makinde is the principal shareholder and Managing Director of Terranova Royale Limited (an agricultural and rural empowerment organization). A young dynamic female Nigerian entrepreneur who is sold out to contributing her quota towards eradicating poverty in Nigeria, Ms. Makinde’s life’s mission is to build profitable and sustainable agribusinesses that transition rural farmers from below poverty earnings to financial independence. With over 13 years of agricultural enterprise experience, a university degree in Marine Sciences, a Bachelors in Business Administration degree (in view) from the SMC University in Switzerland and participation in the Cochran Fellowship, Vital Voices training and the prestigious US IVLP AWEP programme, Ms. Makinde is nonetheless ever so committed to increasing her capacity and equipping herself for the tasks involved in her mission. This is reflective by her attainment of diplomas in Sales Psychology & Persuasion, and Digital Marketing as well as a wide spectrum of certificates in Food Handling – Level 2 CIEH in Food Safety in Catering, Project Management, Powering Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Traceability, Organic Agriculture, Crop Protection/Safe Use of Pesticides, Food Safety Management as well as the prestigious Pan Atlantic University’s Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management. Having set out with maize, cassava and catfish production, Ms. Makinde has led Terranova Royale Limited through various vigorous growth processes to almost completed talks with a South Western state towards establishing a 10,000 hectares feeder farm and agroprocessing partnership – a move expected to make tremendous local and global impact with respect to the targeted crops and sub sectors.
