Woodrow Wilson once wrote “You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.” This is particularly true in today’s society. We are living in exciting times, where the environment is constantly changing and adapting to leadership change. This change is driven by conditions created in the world economy that are constantly raising the bar to what is considered relevant. Adapting is not an option;; it is a requirement to survive. Having said this, I believe the past few years has groomed me for such a time as this. I have become a well-rounded individual who seeks more than achieving targets, or reaching milestones, but also to impact lives, and make a sustainable change to clients, and similarly, stakeholders. It’s logical to say, our harvest is only as good as the seed that we plant and nurture in the ground. It takes nurturing the soil, selecting the correct seed in the right season to yield the returns that will sustain our country and economy through any famine or recession. The process audit is to address the condition of soil, to instill a culture of accountability and create conditions which serve to foster an environment where any entity is established on strong foundations. I am passionate about trends that I see emerging in a today’s society. These include nation building, collaboration, pumping capability into markets and developing the entities that we will be proud to say form the building blocks of world-wide economies.
