Nora Herting

Nora Herting is one of the principal owners of ImageThink and is a shining star in the world of graphic recording. She has also given many workshops over the years and trained a number of successful graphic recorders. That’s our fearless leader!Her Face of Brooklyn project is a thought provoking masterpiece of a collection. The images are all portraits of Brooklyn residents and visitors, taken by Nora Herting at open portrait studios in neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn in 2008. The artist views the collection as a response to the portraits already featured in the Brooklyn Historical Society’s collection, which do not represent the diversity of Brooklyn’s residents.
