Nicole Joseph-Chin is a Trinidad born Author, Speaker and the Founder of Ms. Brafit – A Woman Centric Caribbean based and globally respected Social Enterprise. Ms. Brafit is an Innovative Caribbean Organization, focused on Thought-Leadership in Wellness, Well-being and Education for Social Impact. A former Banker, Nicole embarked on providing a more meaningful presence on the social landscape with the creation of Ms. Brafit in 2002. An Ambassador, Advocate and Innovative Thought-Leader on Breast Health and Breast Care, Nicole is an esteemed 2011 Fellow if the US State Department – (IVLP) Program – Women and Entrepreneurship. Nicole is passionate about Mentorship, Economic Empowerment and Leadership and is a Fellow of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women 2012 and 2013. Nicole is a Founding Member of the US State Department WENC (Women’s Entrepreneurship Network Caribbean) under the US State Department Global Women’s Issues Department from 2014 – 2016. Nicole is a Certified Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment Coach and is a Board-Certified Breast Care Specialist. In her capacity as Educator and Global Speaker, Nicole has shared her thought-leadership on 5 continents with distinguished global partners, global events and academic institutions including; numerous esteemed Caribbean organizations, Oklahoma State University, Loyola College – Baltimore, US Embassy Grenada, Vital Voices – Washington DC, Vital Voices – Buenos Aires, Argentina, Vital Voices – Johannesburg, South Africa, Junior Achievement Swaziland, Swaziland Breast Cancer Network, Swaziland Fair Trade (SWIFT), Global Women’s Conference – Denmark, ASCI – Hyderabad, India. As a Social Innovator, Nicole has propelled her organization and brand to be innovators and pioneers in numerous social impact actions locally, regionally and globally; providing solutions, programs, collaborations and events that promote diverse facets of Women’s Health. Nicole is passionate about health, mentorship, leadership and education and pioneered the Interactive MOOC Bootcamp in Trinidad and Tobago on behalf of the US Embassy Port of Spain in 2014/15. Nicole is a distinguished Fellow of Vital Voices VVLead and an esteemed VV100 Women cohort member.
In March 2017, Nicole was awarded a Scholarship from the Government of India to attend the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) and serves in a community advisory position for her global peers on this program.
