Born in the House of Arcot, Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali is the eldest son of His Highness the Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, and resides in the historic home of his ancestors, ‘Amir Mahal’, in the city of Chennai, India. The family traces its lineage from the second Caliph of Islam, Hazrath Omar Bin-Khattab (may God be pleased with him)
He is the Dewan and Heir-Apparent to the present Prince. As the dewan, he has several responsibilities to his title and everyday duties to perform. He is a socialist, a cultural activist and a philanthropist. He is also the involved in the Prince of Arcot Endowments to implements several projects for the upkeep and improvement of the Endowments which maintains several Mosques in the State of Tamil Nadu. He is the Founder Trustee of ‘Arcot Foundation’, an organisation which assists in supporting with basic needs to the less privileged people belonging to various faiths. He is a patron member of the Carnatic Family Association. The association mainly works on helping the needy people of the Carnatic, especially in the education sector. He is the founder of ‘Foxtek India’, a software development company. He is a musician himself and plays the piano. He is an avid Quizmaster and conducts quiz programmes for schools, college, corporates, consulates and clubs. He is a patron of art and literature and himself is an artist. Nawabzada conferred with Doctorate Degree: The International Global Peace University conferred Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali, with the doctorate degree in social work (Honoris Causa) at the Tamilnadu’s Achievers Conference, in Chennai. The University is accreditated and affiliated with the Global Accreditation Forum (GAF) the United States of America, a unit of Education Panel, Niti Aayog Government of India, Global Accreditation Board for DistanceEducation (GABDE) and United Nations Academic Impact.
