Member of the European Parliament, Brussels from Finland
Mme Merja Kyllönen (born 1977) is Member of the European Parliament from Finland. Prior to being elected to work as an MEP, Mme Kyllönen was member of the Finnish Parliament 2007 – 2014, during which time she was also the Minister of Transport in Finland from 2011 to 2014.
In the European Parliament, Mme Kyllönen is a member in the Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN) and a substitute member in the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI).
MEP Kyllönen is also a member of Delegation to the EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.
