Ma Hnin Wai

Ma Hnin Wai graduated (B.A , English) in 1996 from the University of Yangon and holds MBA,in 2004 from Yangon University of Economics and received scholarship award of Young Leadership program (YLP), MBA in 2006 from Tokyo Hitosubashi University in Japan. She was received International Visitor Leadership Program by United State Government. Currently, She is leading service company which is providing recruitment services, business consulting services for SMEs, providing cooperate trainings for private companies and interior decoration services. She is conducting the business corporate trainings and providing mentoring services for Myanmar SMEs and youth development programs. She started her career life as an office staff at seafood manufacturing company since 1993, worked as export & import manager for rattan and handicraft manufacturing companies about six years (1996-2002) and she run her own business, private school for eight years( 2001-2009). For the development sector, She joined Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs’ Association (MWEA) since 2001 and she has conducted community development research paper of income generating activities of women at MWEA’s model village. She has been served as General Secretary of MWEA since 2010. She worked as a project director for MWEA’s women economic empowerment project (2011-2013) which implements entrepreneurship development initiatives and raises awareness about women rights. She also joined as Economic Development Specialist at World Vision Myanmar and conducted many livelihood research projects throughout the country and developed income generating business models for the grassroots women groups. She was listed in Top Fifty Myanmar Modern Women in 2013 and she did as moderators and panelists for women forum and she is interviewed for businesswomen development and women issues.
