Lisa Beck

An ardent dancer of many forms for decades, Lisa Beck travels regularly to India to imbibe the richness of the Motherland. She is a devoted Odissi student of Shakti School of Dance and the creator of an unique style of Indian fusion called Dakini. She is a prolific teacher, choreographer, dynamic performer as well as an avid blogger, writer and public speaker.

She is the director and founder of the Lisa Beck Fusion Dance Company, performing Bollywood, Indian Fusion and Belly Dance all over Southern California.

Through dance and music classes, workshops, performance trainings and retreats, Lisa creates a safe space for women to express their innermost desires, move their bodies with greater freedom, ease, joy and devotion. The energy channels of the body are awakened and opened, and all shapes, ages, sizes and backgrounds are invited to celebrate in a supportive atmosphere.
