Lavanya is a social entrepreneur from Dubai, now based in Vancouver. Having spent her life between 3 of the worlds continents and travelled to over 25 countries, she considers herself a global citizen. It is this global outlook that inspired her to connect the worlds communities through sustainable business. Frida Couture was founded on that belief. Using fashion as a vessel, Frida supports artisans in Colombia while infusing the Canadian fashion industry with bold colours, cultures and trends.
