Khushnooma Kapadia is the marketing and communications professional with over 18 years of work experience across industries like financial services, communication consulting and hospitality. Core areas of expertise include brand marketing, brand building, strategic communications, managing strategic alliances, media management, digital, social media marketing and crisis communications. Currently spearheading the Marketing and Communications portfolio for Marriott’s South Asia operations, I have been responsible for establishing the brand road map for Marriott’s entire consortium of brands in India operating within various segments of luxury, lifestyle and mid-tier both within Tier I and Tier II markets. Leading a team of over 80 marketing managers in the country, I have been actively involved in the process of brand development and sustenance through a focused effort involving both communication and marketing techniques. Marriott International recently merged with the Starwood Group of Hotels, I have been an integral part of the change management, processes and systems integration post the merger. I lead brand initiatives of close to 15 brands as well as oversee the marketing operations of close to 84 hotels in South Asia.
