Kata Kevehazi founded the JOL-LET (WELL-BEING) Foundation in 2002 with the objective of eliminating discrimination against women on the labour market. Since the organization has been producing outstanding results f.e. in promoting gender equality, dual parenting, family-friendly employment, dual parenting.
She is a policy officer of Hungarian Women’s Lobby, Former board member of the European Women’s Lobby, which is the umbrella organization constituting the pool for the most prominent feminist NGO’s, operating alongside the European Parliament. She is an expert of women’s employment, entrepreneurship, gender stereotypes and media. She is working as an advisor and trainer in different spheres. She holds a MA in economics from University of Economics of Budapest and postgraduate degree in management studies from Copernic Management Program (Paris). Now she is a PHD student of Obuda University in Budapest, writing her dissertation about the gender dimension of global issues.
Member of numerous expert groups, f.e. of the Group of Feminist Economists of the European Women’s Lobby, of the Action 2020 Group organised by the Business Counsil for Sustainable Development of Hungary.
She is a promoter or supporting member of different other initiatives, f.e. Onebillion Rising in Hungary, and Spiritual feminism.
