Kaity Li Yang

As a Gates Millennium Scholar with extensive cultural-fluency and non-profit program development experience, I am firmly rooted in the importance of networking and relationship cultivation with diverse populations in order to create a more understanding, global community. I challenge and mentor our students to realize their potential to influence, develop, and create. I currently serve as the program assistant and pro bono essay writing advisor for high school students with the Ron Brown Scholar Program. Blessed with a Gates Millennium Scholarship, I am forever indebted to the the kindness of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and their commitment to educational accessibility for economically disadvantaged, historically under-served students and wish to pay forward all they have offered me to the very same community.
