Judith Nelson

Heartfulness trainer

United Kingdom

Judith Nelson has been a Heartfulness trainer for 10 years and has meditated in the system for 20 years. Heartfulness is a simple yet highly effective heart-based meditation and relaxation, offered by volunteers in over 100 countries throughout the world. It is free and open to all and includes ‘Transmission’ which helps to deepen and enhance the effects of meditation. Judith is the Vice President of the UK charity which teaches the method, as well as a European Coordinator for Heartfulness. Her enthusiasm for meditation arose after qualifying a physiotherapist. During this time her special interests were the treatment of pain and anxiety management. Working in these areas convinced her that relaxation and meditation are fundamental to a healthier and happier life. Judith moved on to a career in broadcasting and, after having children, into property development. She now spends her time teaching and offering Heartfulness and enjoys sharing its benefits with people of all ages and backgrounds. She also contributes articles for ‘World Moms Network’, an award-winning network and website connecting mothers and empowering women throughout the world.
