Ms. Hiresha Verma, MD & CEO, Hanzen Technologies Pvt Ltd. is a role model for many women entrepreneurs in India. Ms. Hiresha Verma harnessed her entrepreneurial acuity to start a successful social enterprise in mushroom farming and trained over a thousand women in Uttarakhand, who now farm mushrooms at their homes. Her socially-conscious business model has provided employment and livelihood to thousands of housewives, who are earning handsome returns every month. Ms. Verma with her drive and enterprise, market these home-harvested mushrooms to clients across UAE, USA and East Asia.
Ms. Hiresha Verma has been awarded and honored many times and the most recent is ‘Grassroot Level Women of the Decade Award 2014’. She has also been honored with Women Enterpreneur Award in 2011 and in 2014 along with ISB for Leadership and Management Certificate.
Ms. Hiresha Verma holds degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Botany and Chemistry, post-graduation in Human Recourse and MBA in International Business
