Gurleen Kaur

Ar. Gurleen Kaur is co founder of Neo-Motif Design studio. She is spearheding an architecture and interior design practice in Chandigarh which strives to create custom and innovative design solutions.Being a university gold medalist she always wanted to pursue her own practice and design exciting and viable spaces. She is motivated by out of box ideas for green architecture and sustainable lifestyle practice. To pursue this cause professionally she worked towards becoming licensed GRIHA(Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) passive design architect. Her work experience spans from Grass root residential level to high end interior design. Working in various segments of society she has formed her own mark by designing variety of projects . She is always ready for a challenge be it a modern uber gymnasium or an eclectic Indian interior home. For her unique design ideas she was awarded with Pidlite award for Innovation .Her projects were also amongst top 5 commercial projects by under 30 architect in FOAID India list. Ar. Gurleen believes in enriching our culture and documenting our modern history for which she undertook a personal research project along with an Art Historian on Modern Architecture of Chandigarh and its private residence. The research got published in university academic journals and serves as a reference and assistance for students. She aspires to be among the leading names in Architecture and design in India and be known for her own penchant style ,attention to detail and aesthetic skills. She envisions a sustainable and green India where mankind lives in harmony with its natural habitat.
