Graduated from English Language and Literature of Istanbul University Faculty of Letters, Masters degree in Middlesex University on “The Theory and Practice of Translation”, followed by various post graduate courses on teaching, literature and other subjects including Psychology (Two years program), Social Anthropology (Two years program), Pedagogy, “Current Developments in Language Teaching” (Westminster University), Teaching Foreign Languages” (CILT), “Communicative Method”, “One to One Teaching”, “Interpreting and Translation Techniques

Lecturer, language and culture consultant working with government organisations (Foreign and Commonwealth Office, London Metropolitan Police, MOD), universities (London School of Economics, King’s College London, SOAS) and corporate clients.
Translating literary fiction, scientific and reference books and writing academic, travel and general interest articles and columns for magazines and on line publications (such as Oxford Dictionaries).
