CEO, GeoSilica Iceland

Iceland

I was born in Palestine (Jerusalem) but moved to Iceland when I was 16 years old. I finished the program of Preliminary Studies at Keilir in 2008 with a focus on
business and economics. Shortly afterwards, I enrolled in the Energy and
Environmental Engineering School of Keilir Institute of Technology and finished B.Sc. degree in energy and environmental engineering in the summer of 2012,
followed with an MBA degree from Reykjavik University in 2015. The topic of my B.Sc. thesis was the effects of silica and geothermal brine on bacteria and fungi along with the importance and effects of silica in the human body, particularly with regards to bones, skin, hair and nails.
I and my fellow student (which is my colleague now) founded the company Geosilica Iceland where we are developing and marketing valuable silica products from the geothermal water in Iceland
Specialties: Energy and Environmental Engineering Technology (EEET), Renewable energy, Entrepreneur, Health, Business development, Business management.
Geosilica Iceland ehf.
I am the head and co-founder of a Geosilica Iceland. I have been the CEO since the company was established. Have been the leader of a very powerful and determent team at geoSilica. The company’s first year was in R&D. I lead the development of geosilica’s first product. When the product was mature enough to enter the market I set up a marketing research, fallowed with marketing strategy in which resulted that the silica supplement is the highest soled Icelandic product at the largest distributor of supplements and vitamins in Iceland. I put up a quality control system for the
company to insure its high quality products. The company got a portion of
recognition and was called unique company by many professionals, last year we were in the top 2 finalist in the competition rising stars by deliotte. The company’s values reflect my values and my vision in life in which helped us to rise to this stage today with little finance and hard working and determination.
The uniqness of our product and our innovation in every thing we do is a result of a human recourse strategy I set up for the company. All my team believe in the
company and its potential because of this strategy. I love what I do and would do it again, however I will not do it the same I will do even better.
