Dr Nidhi Navander has been practicing as a consultant psychologist and counselor in Aurangabad, India since 13 years. She has been the first one to start with Parenting Workshops in her city. She is the Head of Department of the Child Development Centre at JIIUS Medical College & Research Centre since 4 Years. Along with her academic precision in child development she has also done Masters in developmental psychology from Nagpur. A hard for believer in being a learner through out life, she did not stop even after her marriage. She completed her NET AND SET exams in Child development and did her PhD in Parenting and Adolescent psychology. Doing an emmense research on more than 2,400 parents and children she uses her plathora of knowledge in her workshops and personal Counseling sessions. Wanting to explore all cities for gaining education she did her another post graduation in Rehabilitation psychology from the Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi. She has presented papers in many International Conferences and her work has always been appreciated. She is a regular writer for many newspapers for creating awareness for child development and parenting. She is carrying all these hats with pride while mothering two beautiful daughters and enjoys family life along with all her professional commitments.
On the media front she has done till date six programs with the Aakashwani Aurangabad and also been interviewed by Radio Mirchi for inputs in parenting. She has developed her company named ‘Higher Quotients’ where kids, teens, parents and teachers are trained on various subjects like Emotional Quotient, Leadership, time management, creative thinking and personality development. Her Seminar ‘Hum Tum and Kids’ specially developed for better husband and wife relationships that affects child’s development is the most popular one. A firm believer in spirituality she has incorporated the belief of positive thinking in all her aspects of life. Having gratitude to what the city has given her, to give something back she has recently started the All Ladies League, Aurangabad Chapter to bring all enthusiastic and positive women together.
Her mission now is to spread the awareness on conscious parenting and relationships all over India, in line to which she has taken more than 120 workshops in Nagpur, Pune, Akola, Raipur, Sholapur & Pune.
