Dr. Indu Anand – India

Dr. Indu have been a committed head of Janki Devi Memorial College, University Of Delhi , an institution which stands for excellence in academics and extra Curricular activities. She is dedicated to the spread of education among women and strongly advocate their economic empowerment and wider integration in society. She had initiated the Women Entrepreneurship Support Training ( WST) program in the college with the Government of Netherlands and Ecorys , India as Knowledge Partner.
Have been the recipient of FUllbright scholarship and Charles Wallace Trust.
Under her leadership the college was visited by Prime Minister of UK, Davide Cameron. As an educator, have been associated with statutory bodies such as Executive Council and Academic Council. Have been integrally associated with the college for the last 40 years including 11 years as the Principal. Have also been the recipient of Mahila Shriromani Award, Amity Woman Achiever’s award, lifetime Achievement Award, Chief Ministers Best Rain Water Harvesting Award and Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award.
