Digbijoy Chakraborty is a visionary leader at Frost & Sullivan Inc, looking after Economic Development & Government consulting practice in India & South Asia. He has pioneered the Entrepreneurship Development model in India which is a strategic initiative of Frost & Sullivan, Mountain View, USA for Growth, Innovation and Leadership. Mr. Chakraborty has been working in many important initiatives of the State and Central Government. Some of his activities include driving Centre of Excellence for Start Up, Policy Review, Impact Assessment Studies, Mobility, Master Plan Development, Biotechnology and Business Parks Feasibility, Industry Roadmap & Revitalization Strategy, Investment Promotion, Tourism Development etc.
Mr. Chakraborty was earlier heading the Customer Research vertical of Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific. Besides, he is the Chairperson of the Research Cell of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Executive Council Member of the Eastern & North Eastern Council of Assocham, Honorary Industry Board Member of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chairperson of Centre for Development of Excellence for Entrepreneurship Development, President of Netaji Subhas Anuragi Youth Association, a voluntary social organization work with the underprivileged children & a passionate social worker involved in many social activities since his childhood. Represented CII for Bio Convention USA as a Knowledge Partner including many national & oversees State & Central Govt of India delegations as a key industry delegate. A well-known speaker at leading business schools like IIMs, Xavier, Universities and various industry forums and business associations. He is a Master Degree Holder in Business Management and a doctoral fellow of University of Calcutta.
