CJ Collins – United States of America (USA)

CJ Collins serves as the FAA Senior Representative to South Asia, based in New Delhi. Previously, she served eight years with the United Nation’s International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal, Canada. At ICAO, she performed aviation safety audits
in 53 countries, including 30 as audit Team Leader. Prior to her ICAO posting, she served as the FAA program manager for the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Skies For Africa initiative. She holds five FAA certificates: Airline Transport Pilot, Flight Engineer,
Aircraft Dispatcher, Certified Flight Instructor, and Advanced Ground Instructor.
Her flying experience includes flight instruction, air taxi operations, air ambulance, and
flying the Boeing 727 for an international airline. She holds a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Before transitioning to aviation, she received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas and maintained a
career in journalism, including positions with Hearst Publications in New York.
