Chaula Patel – India

Chaula Patel is a psychologist, psychotherapist and counsellor, in professional practice for 30 years. She is committed to high standards of excellence in her work, which includes personal, corporate, career and education counselling. Her work experience is varied and includes counselling for students as well as personal counselling for communication, adjustment and relationship issues at both the individual and group level.
She has her own private practice and is a consultant psychologist and counsellor to many IT majors.

She is a visiting faculty at Symbiosis college of Liberal Arts for courses in Psychology.
She is presently the HOD(Counselling) at Prashanti Cancer Care Mission where she runs the oncocounselling course for those wishing to work with cancer patients. She offers counselling services for cancer patients and their family members at Prashanti on a regular basis.
She conducts psychometric Testing for Course and career selection, for students as well as for Corporate Recruitment and internal movement. .
Chaula graduated with an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai and a Master’s degree in Counselling and Educational Psychology from Mumbai University. Along with being a 16 PF Certified Professional, Chaula has also done several additional courses within the fields of Child Psychology, Use of Projective Techniques, Transactional Analysis, and Community Mental Health.
