Apekshita Alkesh – India

Apekshita Alkesh is a sportsperson with brilliant academic records. A student in her senior year of school, she’s played lawn tennis at national and international level and has captained the Delhi Lawn Tennis team twice. She was also ranked Delhi #1 in her category. An all-rounder, Apekshita was recognized for her hardwork and versatility by being awarded the ‘Student of the Year’ award in her sophomore year. She is also an aerospace enthusiast, and was invited to Kennedy Space Centre in Florida as a Summit Diplomat in the Conrad Spirit of Innovation Challenge and to Puerto Rico for the International Space Development Conference as winner of the NASA Ames Space Settlement Design Competition. Apekshita is also a brilliant orator and has spoken at various events in her school and outside. Apart from oratory skills, Apekshita also possesses exemplary writing skills and has written on contemporary issues in national dailies. She truly believes in the amalgamation of sports and academics as well as words being agents of change and empowerment.
